Hey guys I know I made a mistake painting my car before I did all the rust repair but it seemed like a easy enough task. Ok what you are looking at is my driver side rear pan, its not actual cancer its all good metal but what appears to be surface rust is tougher that an overcooked steak(my wrist is killing me). Maybe someone can tell me some tried and true method of getting this stuff up. I am going to put rust bullet down to protect the metal the say I can put it directly over the metal but I really dont feel comfortable doing that even with just surface rust. Also a little on the weird side I put some rubbing alcohol
on it and it came up some but by then I was tuckered out anyone have any suggestions or experience with this kinda surface rust? Any info or advice will be much appreciated.
