    Yea,

    I'm questioning if I need them after more asking around. I talked to the person who's doing my resto and he said that having the discs on the front you really don't need them on the back. He also said that the front do 60-65% of the braking and the back take up the rest. So unless you are planning on a bunch of hard stops it's not really necessary.

    Drums can look really funky behind custom wheels. For me it was more of a "look" thing

    rear drums generally will lock up first without a variable proportioning valve   , there is less load on them

    Do you have a side shot with the rim on?  What size disc do you have on the rear?

    My point exactly!  Why would you put discs on the rear (other than for cosmetics) and then turn down the line pressure so much to limit the "improved" braking?  The system needs to be balanced, and the truth is the fronts do almost 75% of the braking.

    Don't get me wrong, if I had unlimited funds I'd throw a set of the 13 or 14" discs on front and then get some discs for the rear too.

    10.87" Discs do look nice, but the large finned drums actuallly fill out the rims more.

    Outside Diameter 13.62" / 5 Bolts / Finned

    I'd like to get 13" or larger if I was going to put them on my 18" rims.  But that would really be defeating the purpose.

    I doubt you are going to find too many that actually prefer the look of drums but to each his own. Maybe on an all drum car?  I think discs look better, match the front, easier to change shoes, etc.

    But no doubt about it, converting to them is anything but cheap.

    Am running Dr Diff's kit, wheels are 17x11. Also has OEM rear sway bar, did have to relocate the holes in the attach brackets slightly.

    Thank you for the info! :2thumbs: I have a dr diff kit on the way with a 1" offset spring hanger kit so i was trying to figure out want to do. :pullinghair:
