what stall for 408 stroker?
« on: September 12, 2010 - 11:18:50 PM »
i'm currently running a 3000 behind my 340 wich will probably turn into a 3500ish behind my stroker  :dunno:.
i don't know what cam i will have but i'm shooting for 500hp, i have a 727 with gear vendor and 3.73's. i would like to stay as low as possible due to the fact i'm doing more and more highyway cruising.

Work out your cam first and other mods, no use putting a high stall behind a mild cam.

the stall need to be 200-400 rpm higher than where the powerband starts on the cam
so if the powerband starts at 2000 rpm on the cam I would use a 2200-2400 stall
