rear end marks

Can anyone advise me on the markings for a 70 challenger 489 3.23 open rear end? The guys just sandblasted the whole unit and destroyed all markings... I remeeber there were stripes at the bottom and some stencilled numbers, they were almost illegible so I didnt take a photo

Each car has its markings made unique since they were done by hand.

Since you painted the whole underside of your car a solid color already, I wouldn't loose any sleep over it.

thanks for the links but I already found that info. My car wont be 100% OE correct but it's # matching and I want to make it looking stock. Dont want a christms tree with all that inspection marks on every nut and bolt - just the correct number on the axle and correct strips. AFAIK these were done according to a scheme?
