70 cuda track pack U joint questions
« on: October 11, 2010 - 10:25:20 PM »
Hi everyone, i am new to the forum.  My name is Michael I have a 1970 cuda 440 six pack, it has the track pack with a 4 speed.  The car has been sitting for around 10 years and to make a long story short i have been getting it road worthy again and I took it out and broke the caps off the driveshaft rear yoke.  Can anyone tell me how i can find the correct caps and U joint size.  I have been to the parts store but they cant seem to find what i need.  thanks

You probably need the 2 5/8" but measure to be sure

Do you have a local NAPA?

the smaller joint is a 7260 , in a track pack car typically you will have the larger 7290 U joints
