    Gee thanks for all the compliments guys (on my 69 Coronet in the For Sale section that I am wanting to trade for an E body).  I am going to do something this winter if I don't sell it or trade it. I really regret building the engine so strong, it is a 11.5:1 compression motor and it builds somewhere around 650 hp. Everyone told me not to build such a monster, but I would not listen.........I guess hindsight is 20/20
    I am thinking about putting a set of flat top pistons in it to lower the compression a little, it is too aggrivating and expensive to have to run racing fuel all the time.  This drivetrain setup that I have came out of my father in laws 72 Dodge Dart race car that runs consistant 6.70's in the 1/8 mile. On the sale...........I still have not made up my mind what I want to do. I would LOVE to have another nice Challenger like my triple black 340 Rallye. But I also like this car..........decisions!!!!!!! Decisions!!!!!! dontknow

    Your not enjoying your car with that motor in there!
    Putitng race fuel in there all the time must be a PITA!
    And Expensive! Im sure you can't drive it too far,just around town?
    I bet if you made the motor a bit more clam to run on pump gas you would have new feelings about that B-body and enjoy it much more. What heads you running ,906's or 915's?
    If i had to buy race gas everytime i drove my car I would go  stomp  . and as i sit here and  coffee I want to go drive!!! dogpile

    I had a '69 Coronet done as a Super Bee clone, had so much fun in that car and sold it.  spank
    I still wish I kept it as the money is now long gone and couldn't buy half the car it was for what they go for know.

    Easier said than done but keep what you have and find a seperate Challenger.( nice Coronet by the way! )

    Hmmm, any black Coronets on E-bay??
