Rocker Panels

Does anyone have these on their Challenger?   I can't recall ever seeing one with them --  yet I know they made (and still make them).......

You always have rocker panels (unless you live near me and they rusted away! )
Are you referring to the rocker panel moldings?  My '70 convertible has them, M25 code maybe?  They are less common on Challengers than the rocker moldings on cudas, but you still see them sometimes.

The rocker panel molding for 70-71 Challengers is wider than the 72-74 version. I guess you could always go with the style you like best.

Really? I thought they were the same. My moldings are about 2cm wide, cross section kind of like a triangle. How wide are the earlier ones? JH27's pic looks like they could almost be most of the rocker.

No luck yet on a decent pic of the 72-74 moldings. Even Year One's picture is worthless.

   Yep -- I was referring to Rocker Panel Moldings for Challengers....

JHNOB -- your vert is terrific.    I see you have a lot of extra "bling" on it ..... do you have the "SE" Argent coloared rear taillight panel?   I'd love to see more pics ......

Thanks, the car was an executive lease car and loaded with most options.  It has the A63 trim option which includes all the exterior trim that came with the SE package on hardtops including the rear argent panel.

Yes, my 70 Challenger R/T also came with the SE trim package which includes the wide rocker moldings.

So I guess the SE trim was the wider stuff and a plain Challenger like mine could be ordered with the skinnier stuff.

Dodj - well I think it is more about the year made....  I believe SE's were available in 70/71 - and it appears the Rocker Panel Trim is wider than for 72-74 (when SE's were not offered)....
