Need help buying a Car cover

I bought a cheap $60 one from Oreilly's, and obviously I am now having to buy a new one. I don't know anything about car covers. I don't want to have to buy another one again. Can yall suggest a good one, that will protect my car better? Thanks.

Protect from what? Is the car outdoors? Or indoors?
Different types of car covers for either indoors or outdoors.

Outside,
I wouldn't put a bunch of money into an outside car cover myself.
I've been buying the water proof one's on E bay for 39 bucks plus shipping. They're pretty good. Tight fit, water repels well. Car stays dry and they don't blow off.
They last a year to a year and a half. Then I just get another. A year or so for 40 bucks; I got my moneys worth.

I still have my Covercraft Tan Flannel cover since '82. It's been on my '72 Cuda race car, then my '74 Duster race car now on my '73 street Cuda. It's made for the Cuda but also fit on the Duster.
I even use to tow with it on a open trailer years ago.
I can't buy a new one because it is still in great condition though a little dirty here and there.
I would buy another if I had too..

For indoor useage, I have been using a tan flannel lined cover made for an e-body.  I bought mine from JC Whitney in 1975.  I still have it and use it.  As others have said it depends whether your needs are for indoors or outdoors.

Winds reached 75 mph here last week and it didn't blow off.
Also, had 8 inches of rain in 5 days on my car. There was a little condensation under it. Mainly on the roof. Car was pretty darn dry though.

Optional you may want to do:
Put an old bed sheet, then a plastic tarp over it, (HF) then the car cover.

I have purchased covers from Empire Covers. They have any/all types from off the shelf to custom. I've had no problem with them and thier prices are very competitive.

I just bought one of these since the rains are coming now. They last about a year before the sun dries them out. They work good for the low price they are.
