This may not be a factor, but I thought I'd throw it out there. As of the end of July, I believe, the Pa. turnpike upped their rates about 50%. I think you guys had to travel the turnpike to get from the Fairfield Inn to Carlisle, correct? Just a thought that it may cost a few more $$$ this year. madvibe  Just how far away from Carlisle is the Fairfield Inn anyway?

jump nothing, snip snip and we walk through. I have never had a problem swimming after hours, they have those rules for the youngins.

We think alike.  Ask either LB or Street.  I was over the fence and in the pool before they could even close the door on their room!! lol  But yet they refused to join me so I swam alone,  Cowards!!  This year could be different . . .  beer

MEK we took back roads to Carlisle Fairgrounds from the hotel so we didn't have to pay a toll.  It took about 20 minutes to reach the show and it was a nice drive!

  OK 4C,
I have another question. How bad was the traffic taking the route you took to the fairgrounds? It seems all roadways are small up there. Yeah, big time farm country with this fairground mixed in thumbs I just know heading out of there making a left onto route 11 is a pain in the arse to get back to the Comfort Inn that most of us stayed at last year. Did anyone else notice how only about 3 cars could get thru that one traffic light? pissed Maybe it was just me dontknow I had no problem with the Comfort Inn, but I'm willing to explore all options ;)
