A litte update:  I picked up a nice used Ede 1806.  Now I have to decide if I'm going to put the 4 bbl on with stock heads or get the 302 heads gone over and do the whole top-end at once.  Of course, now I'm thinking whether I should upgrade the cam at the same time I do the heads!  Like everything I do, I'm just getting in deeper & deeper....

I am looking to change over my 87 Ram to 4-bbl where did you find kickdown, throttle cable, bracket parts?

Well, I haven't installed anything yet, but I believe I have all the parts I need except gaskets and I bought everything so far off Ebay or Craigslist.  I'm no expert, but the throttle cable could work from the 2 bbl.  Anybody know for sure?

thanks, Jim

I've done this a couple of times but I just made the linkages up as I went along and it always seemed to work out.

Definitely try to use a non-metal spacer to keep the carburettor cool, otherwise the heat will travel quickly up through the aluminium manifold and boil your fuel when you switch off (if not before).

AWESOME DEAL!

I got my 318 this evening ... the Crate motor turned out to be a 360, not a 318!

I am very excited ... I hope the intake will be dropped off this weekend....

That leaves me short one carb and the linkage ....

Clearance under the hood may be an issue, not sure.  Just looking at the LD340 intake its way taller than stock and I want to use a stock 340 'flapper' air cleaner, but I agree if I have any room to spare I'd like to run as much of a spacer as I can.  My Roadrunner loved a 1" on top of its Ede intake so I'm sure the Barracuda will be the same if there's room.
