marker bezels

try this in the right forum. assembling a 71 cuda with accumulated parts.  the marker bezels have 2 different depths for the reflectors. I assume the deeper one go up front, correct?

the small reflectors on the frontfender markers point to the front and in the rear, they point to the rear

I just read your other post on the subject...         do you mean you have 2 different types of sidemarkers?  I can`t remember noticing that... can`t check it for you either, I deleted them on my car.

I am ok with position of the side marker lights.  The reflector slots are different.  on 2 of them the reflector fits flush all the way across.  on the other 2 the reflector sits inside the bezed about a 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch at the end that faces the middle of the car.  Is it possible that these are not the right bezels?

as far as I know these bezels were used for 70-71 only.  Other years were different and wouldn`t fit your car.

Sounds like you have a pair of Fury side markers,do they have beveled screws in the place of the mounting studs?

No, they have the cap screw studs. this is what is puzzling. They fit the cuda fine ant the reflectors and lights fit perfectly.  But the inset for the reflectors is deeper on 2 of them.   One of the deep set ones has "TOP LH" marking on the back and the part numbers are 3403633 & 46430.  Any help???
