help with parts selection

i am gettin ready to pull the 727 out of my chally... someone is going to rebuild fo rme but i dont want to put it back to stock... not lookin for a drag caar tranny but would like to make it a lil stronger so i dont have to pull it out again in a nother year or so ....i dont knwo jack about transmissions.... what kinda of kit-parts-clutches etc... should i look at ... thru what company.... any ideas... oh yea it is a 440 bored 30 mild cam... mild head work.... holley 770 carb... holley dominator intake 1 7/8 headers.... valve job... nothin real crazy ....thanks in advance
