Moparals Speed Shop Visit
« on: October 21, 2010 - 02:23:13 AM »
So I was sitting around today and had nothing to do, so I took Alan up on a invite down to the speed shop and piddle around with him.

Well of course Alan and Peggy are two great hosts, and Bullet-99 came by and we all just hung out talking Mopar and life.  Alan and Peggy cooked two great meals and Alan played the guitar and showed off some of his skills on the gitfiddle, he was pretty good for an old car guy!

I also got to meet another friend of Alan's who helps Alan out around his shop.  Jackie was a nice guy brought his kids over and we all just talked cars and life.  We had a great time.

Alan & Peggy thanks for inviting me down to visit you guys.  I had a great time with great friends.

We'll have to impose on Ms Peggy for some pics, she was the only one sporting a camera.
Kudos also to her for an excellent steak dinner. MMMM-MMMM. And Alan can pick a tune & croon with the best of them but I was astonished when Cudaguy broke out with a pretty good verse of Stairway To Heaven..... watch out Robert Plant .
Was a great day to hang out even though Alan would hardly let us play with his toys I did get treated to a blast in a 440/6 Barracuda he's babysitting, I did manage to tinker with the doors on his pet truck.
Good to see you again Don & nice to have someone else around for A-man to pick on.

:2thumbs: Sounds like a lot of fun Don, speaking of visiting old friends, Pam and I were out to Tony's shop last weekend, and I saw a sharp looking Javalin sitting in the bay behind his office.   :picture:  We didn't take a camera but it is sharp.

My Dad is so happy to have Tony repairing his car and painting it!  He is also thinking about having Alan supe up the engine in it to make it a little faster...  LOL!!!  Hope you guys had fun with Tony, I love going there and drinking all his beer and listen to him tell stories of the cars that come through his place!!!  Please tell Pam I said hi.

Don, Glad you had a nice visit. Wish I could have been there. If I knew you were going, I would have had you give Alan and Peggy a hug from me.
