Torqueboxes and rear floor
« on: October 31, 2010 - 02:54:16 PM »
I have noticed that my torqueboxes are welded in the rear floorpan which I intend to replace, do I need new torqueboxes or will I be able to reuse the excisting ones? :clueless:

If they still look okay then you should be able to grind the welds down and remove them from the pans.

Thanks John, maybe better remove them completly because they also interfere
with the MP subframeconnectors I see. :banghead:

I had the same problem years ago with the torque boxes.  Now I have to replace them on my 6 pack Challenger.  I would try to find a way to keep them and add subframe connectors.
