Hermosa Beach
« on: October 27, 2010 - 01:11:27 AM »
Here are some of the pics I took last week while myself and a couple of buddies were at Hermosa Beach. We stayed at 'The Beach House Hotel at Hermosa Beach' right on The Strand.

Nice homes - you WILL pay in the eight figure range for the privilege of claiming an address on The Strand. Location, location, location :money: :money: :money: :money: :money: :money: :money: :money: :money:

Temps were in the low to mid 60s with overcast days and moist nights although the sun did pop out during the late afternoon hours.

Several homes were up for rent; this was the only sign (on The Strand) with all the details.

Several examples of (the beautiful) homes located on The Strand including one in the process of being built. The homes in the last two pics are across the street from each other.

Unless your house is on a corner there won't be a great deal of space in between you and your neighbor. "Pardon me, would you have any Grey Poupon?" ;)

Unbelievable variety of trees and plants :2thumbs:

A couple of crows helping themselves to what's available.

Surfer dude skateboarding home after some wave time.

It seemed as if everyone was either walking, walking the dog, jogging, jogging while excercising the dog, jogging while wheeling the baby stroller, biking, biking while exercising the dog...well, you get the idea :jumping:

The women in this shot wheeling the baby strollers were all jogging while passing the slower 'traffic'. Speed limit is 8mph.

Cool shots  :smokin:

This beautiful home is one block up from the beach. The sign by the fence reads "Here lies the last dog to poop in my yard" :smilielol: :smilielol:

A few cool cars including this B5 74 'cuda :2thumbs: Anyone we know?
