people on my mustang forum also complain about the size of the new chally, but most on mustangforums.com say they would take a chally way before they get the camaro. ive looked at some of the new challys and considered trading my stang in for one but ive yet to test drive it to see what people mean by how large it is.

on topic with the thread. i dont like the front end so much of this, possible cuda. the grille doesnt match the one from the 71 enough, needs to be taller and more sunken in on the sides. It almost looks like a modern chally with braces on its teeth.

I was just looking at the pictures, to really get a better look at what they are trying to do here. I like the grille idea. But one of the things I couldn't believe is that they still have the challenger hood on it! They need to change that out to a barracuda hood!
Cuda is gone :(

The body lines are a key to getting it done...Not just bolt in 'Cuda parts.  BTW they need those 71 Gilled fenders too that actually function and serve a purpose.

If Dodge sticks with the LX platform (and keeps producing a muscle car) then I hope they do a Cuda when they decide to refresh the sheet metal.  My biggest complaint is the high belt line, but there is no getting around that as long as the LX platform is used.

As for cost, I am surprised that some view an e-body as the less expensive car.  You can buy a new base R/T with the 6 speed and Track Pack for right around $30K, just priced it out on Edmonds.  Yes, you can load it up with more options or get the SRT and spend big bucks, but that base R/T is a sweet ride in its own right with respectable performance, good fuel economy and easily the best interior.

Yes they should do a reboot of the cuda and yes the body lines should be similar to the Cuda body not a challenger. should also offer for the cuda a one off cuda only rim package
