Anybody knowing this -71 cuda vert?
« on: December 14, 2010 - 02:09:59 PM »
A friend is looking for a -71 cuda convertible and came across this ad. Is anybody
familiar with the car? If so, is it solid?

Seen it on e-bay w/reserve not met in the $40s.  Seemed to have lowered its price.

Might be worth it at $30k, but $35k?  Figure another $15k for a new paint job, you're talking serious money.

I could be wrong, its happened more than once,
but I think Ive seen that car for sale before, so its either someone trying to flip it, or its been for sale forever. I think the price is also high, but not much.
It IS a vert

is your friend looking for a 71, or would a 70 do?  there`s a 70 cuda (bs) 383 for sale in the Netherlands.  Not sure if the guy will sell it unrestored  :dunno:  it`s a white one but lemon twist from factory and it`s in very nice shape too.

I only live a half hour away from Cambria. If you would like to set up a viewing with seller, I would happily go take a look and asses the car for you guys. I can take pictures, check for rust/repairs etc.

Let me know,

Geoff

Well, I suppose I will extend my offer to anyone else that might be interested in that car. If you need me to check it out I would be happy to do so. If I had the money it would be mine, oh yes!
