Wires and clasps
« on: November 27, 2010 - 09:10:59 AM »
I need to know what type of wires and clasps to buy.

A racer buddy of mine talked about some kind of easy clasp plug in wires?
I have a new fuse box from Summit.

I would also like the stainless braided wire set, do they come as a set or do I buy them separately?
Where should look to purchase these?
I'm on a bit of a budget but I might be able to get them for Christmas!

I don't know about the clasps you are talking about but do not run the braided steel covered spark plug wires, if that is what you're asking about. I've had too many friends that had problems with those.  We try to keep our plug wires away from ground so why would you wrap you full length wires with one?

Well every body,
I'm trying to kill 2 birds with one stone.

My wires look bad, and when I wired it I only used one color wire :banghead:

My son said he would rewire it for me for Christmas.
He does a lot of car wiring.

You should have seen the look on his face when he saw it!

But Hell it all works (chrome don't gecha home).
Right? :roflsmiley:

Thanks about the advice for the plug wires , I had not thought of that.
That could make for some bad problems.

But what make or model braided wire should I look for?
And my friend told me about some kind of plug in wires that are safe and easy to trace any problems with.
