Dash Guages
« on: December 02, 2010 - 08:39:38 AM »
Just aquired a 72 Cuda. Speedometer needle is broke, tach is alittle optimistic, fuel guage reads empty after 35 or so miles, and other guages were disconnected and a set of Walmart guages installed under the dash.

Any recomendations for a guage repair Guru?

redline gauge works in California. They do top notch work, but you do pay for it.

:iagree: Redline does amazing work. They install modern internals so the gauges will last longer, can convert the amp gauge to a voltmeter so you don't have to worry about burning up your wiring harness, and can do custom gauge face work if you want something different than factory. But they are not cheap. I think I was quoted around $1100-$1200 for a complete restoration of my gauges including custom gauge face screening.

You can also check out DashWorx (RT Engineering). I've had them refurbish a couple of gauge clusters for me. They do absolutely fantastic work.
