70 383, I just put a new electronic distributor in and I have a question.
Since I could not find a remote start switch(search 4 parts stores), I decided to try the old, hard way. Which is setting a distributor to one spot try and start and then slowly turn it till it starts, so to help me along the way. I know the base setting is supposed to be 5 degrees advanced.
Question, if I do the old screw driver test and tun the motor till #1 is TDC, which way is advanced, turning dist. towards the engine or away?
