Did Search- Nothing..need a picture please.
« on: November 23, 2010 - 09:22:49 PM »
So I bought a "bag-o-parts" with a bunch of misc. 4-speed linkages in it along with a few shifter Adapter plates. One was what looks to be a 1/4" plate with one counter sunk hole like factory, the other two of the "triangle" pattern seem to be just holes drilled..It looks like there's a number on it  "02    195    0163"..

It seems to me if I try and bolt this thing to a trans, not only will the bolts in th two holes not allow the shifter to bolt up, the pattern looks to be backwards as the shifters have one Larger bolt through the top and then the smaller one through the back.. This piece looks like the shifter would be upside down if bolted to my trans...
I got pics of this thing, but photobucket is acting up again...
Can anybody post a pic and some numbers off an "E" body shifter aluminum adapter???

I bought a set of new shift rods and I REALLY don't want to have to sell 'em and cobble up something in order to make a "B" body adapter work...Wouldn't 'ya just know it? Chrysler changed the 3 bolt pattern on the tailshafts and all I have are "B" body adapters....

E-body plate is a higher mount than a b-body. You could probably make one of your plates work if you weld and drill on it. For me, I usually find these for about $50. This is a pic of one that I bought from a friend that makes them.
