I was thinking , How did they get that from Chrysler, when i worked there it was armed guards at the gates so you didn't get stuff from the huge bins of so called obsolete parts.
Very sad to see all those great parts go to the crusher back in the 80s.

I thought they were required by law to crush those types of things?  Seems kind of ballsy to try and sell it.

I know a guy that got a brand new Mustang shell from a Magna plant that was used for fitting parts. He turned it into a stock car!  He got his for $300 bucks though? I have a relative that works at a Magna plant that makes the front and rear fascia for the Challenger and Charger. I asked her if I could get a Challenger front end, she said sure how many do you want? They strip the grills and lights etc... out of them but the rest just gets shredded. They are blems. I thought it would be cool to hang up in the garage if I had room?
