The seller was very upfront when he used the word "molested" in the ad. Although I have not done a full inspection, from speaking with the seller it appears this V code has a lot of missing parts and even less documentation. No matching motor, no matching Trans, No fender tag, No built sheet, so what you get is a Dash VIN and a heavily modified body. Hard to prove it was a 4 speed or what color the car was. The previous owner really did a number to it.... and that's putting it lightly. As it sits now it has an automatic and will need almost every panel replaced.
If you're looking to restore this car back to it's Mopar heritage here's what you get for 15K: a title, dash VIN, Cowl and Rad VIN #'s, the roof and the frame rails. The rest is either missing or been damaged so bad and in need of replacement. This is a very cool and rare car, but without some documents to prove the trans and color it will be a big risk to restore and not lose tens of thousands. Nicely restored numbers matching V codes have come down in price and that pushes these type of cars down in price. Finished right I can't see this car bringing more than 50K. More likely 40ish. When you pay 15K for it and it still needs at least 35K in parts and bodywork you get upside down fast. And that's if you do the work for free!
