I fitted my connectors yesterday. 50*50*3.
It was really easy i thought.
I held the tube up against the floor, marked the length, marked the shape of the rear chassis line then cut it to suit.
I cut 25mm out of the tube,so i have 25mm hanging below the floor.
Once it was cut and i new it was right,i tacked the rear in place then using a jack, jacked the front up till it was just pass flush and tacked it in.
Both sides were tacked in then i fully welded it all up.
Rather than cutting into the floor this worked out pretty good.
There is a slight bulge in the rear floor but you wont notice it when the carpet is back in.
I was concerned about the ground clearance at first but when i think about the 3" exhaust that will be fitted it wont be a drama.
All this was done with the car on 4 stands and no motor.
