Front Console Bracket Location?? 4 speed Challenger
« on: January 09, 2011 - 11:51:33 AM »
I just completed the swap from automatic to 4 speed on my 70 Challenger.  Can someone tell me what the exact location is for the front console bracket is?  I just ordered one from Brewer's and it will be arriving next week.  I presume that the screw slot is centered, but wasn't sure the exact distance is from the front edge of the rear console mount.  I am having it welded in, so it would be great to do this once.

Thanks .... CHAPS

Hello I have this pic from an original 70 4spd rag top challenger here for you  but I would do a test fit with the trany/shifter/boot/trim-ring in place then test fit the console for the location of the front bracket. Rob
