I believe the lord was watching out for you. That thing was a piece of scrape metal. It would have cost you another 20,000.00 to put it together again. Be thankful. :smokin:

Woulda been a big job, that's for sure. Might have been better for a donor car.
If I cant fix it, it's broke

Rough, unless you are into fixing cars like that.

I agree. Looks almost like barnacles are growing on it.

Yeah, that might have been better as a parts car. You'll find something. Keep your eyes on the ebay/craigslist postings that people put up here.

:iagree:  I think you lucked out not getting it.  For several grand more and less headaches and time invested you could get a fairly solid '73 with a V8.  That car needs soooo much work.

Unless your parents drove you home in it when you were born or it had some sentimental value of sorts, better off fishing for a Cuda (a real one, that BH car had a Cuda emblem on the rear) somewhere else.

My 73 was in better shape than that one. I am over $16,000.00 and still counting. That is with me doing all of the work. Look for a solid base to start with, rust hides everywhere in these cars. Once you start you will find hidden costs and hidden rust.

"Look for a solid base to start with, rust hides everywhere in these cars. Once you start you will find hidden costs and hidden rust." Truer words were never spoken. You ducked a bullet, so count yourself lucky and keep looking. California or southwest cars have the best chances of being less infected with the rust bug. Good luck.
