Quater Window Trim

My chrome trim that attaches to the quater window keeps poping off..
Was going to to the black weather stripping glue to hold it...
any suggestions?

W/strip glue will not hold it on Dan. I'd clean both pieces with brake cleaner and use blk silicone or w/s urethane and let it cure for a couple of days before using it. Good luck

i also have some 3m ribbon seal, would that work?

Not sure which product you've got. If it's what I call their 'strip caulking" and is about 1/4-5/16ths wide and a foot long and comes packed in rows on a plastic backing- then no. The silicone is cheapest and the urethane the strongest. You choose.
