bad luck streak
« on: March 06, 2011 - 03:18:36 PM »
Some people just have some strings of bad luck. A few of you may remember that a few months ago my brother ran his motorcycle off a mountain and was in the ICU in Denver for 9 days. Well about 2 months after that he was out driving around and hit some ice in the road, right in the middle of a turn, and totaled out my dads brand new Duramax, there was a pretty big scare there since he wasnt fully recovered from the motorcycle wreck yet but everything turned out ok. Then the first day he is cleared to do whatever he wants he decides that he is going to do a backflip on a snowboard, well he did it so then he decided he was going to do it off a bigger jump and ended up spraining (almost breaking) his wrist. Well that got all healed up and they finally cleared him to play basketball (he got to play one game all year due to all the injuries) the first basketball game he plays in he gets undercut going in for a lay-up and cracks his tailbone. Just thought id share this incase any of you out there think your on a bad luck streak.....just remember that it could always be worse

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

Wow,
I thought bad crap runs in three's. Sounds like he's overtasked with the bad ju-ju. I've had a run of crapola as well. Last saturday my wife was broad-sided by a young smart mouthed girl that ran a stop sign. My wife's car was totaled and she got a bad dose of whiplash. Thank God she wasn't seriously hurt. The young girl was un-injured. It's the third time this car has been in an accident in 16 months!! I hope your brother takes things a little easier and fully recovers without any lasting complications!!

It sounds like he needs a rabbits foot for good luck. I hope it turns around for him.
