starts stops

Ok, Have a 70 440 6 pack,auto,Starts runs a few blocks and stops.after about 45 min starts and does the same thing again,its getting gas, plus i changed the fuel filter,Anyone got some good idea. Bill

When it quits, do you have spark and fuel?

Have fuel,Cant check spark here by myself.

if its getting gas like its suppose to then  the next step is spark,,but is kinda hard without help,,if you have an extra coil,,try swapping it out,,it may be getting hot and shutting down

if it has electronic ign the pick up coil can quit as it warms up
