Trunk torsion rod

My 73 barracuda only has one trunk torsion rod. Is this correct? I remember seeing earlier cudas with two.

Are there adjustment slots on both sides of the car or just one?  The factory went to 1 rod in 71 but went back to two in late 71 or 72.  If there are adjustment slots on both sides, you are just missing one of your rods.

My 71 has 1 rod, but I cannot get that thing hooked up.  There has to be an easy way.

There are adjustment slots on both sides. I have seen the later cudas with only 1 rod at the strip, but it seems like it would want to torque the lid just the one way when its being lifted with just one. I have mine in which was a PITA. Just seems like it twists some.

When they went to one rod in 71, there were only adjustment slots on one side.  Since you have slots on both sides, your car origonally had two.
