felts for rear quarter channel
« on: November 11, 2010 - 11:46:11 AM »
does anybody know where I can get the felts for the channel that the rear quarter glass rides when rolling up and down, this is the piece that mounts on the wheel well to top of the quarter panel, I have the metal channels, just my felts pretty much turned to dust when I was doing the body work.

Thanks :clueless:

Go to a glass shop and see what they offer.  There is a guy on Moparts who just got done restoring his quarter windows.  He said that he got new material from a local glass shop.

Thanks for the tip!  I was looking for this info earlier and will give the glass shop a try.

I did this job on my 64 Vette and found they offer a roll of the material. You just glue it into the track. I saved the extra so that I can use it on my Mopars for the job you described. If the glass shop can't help, chk out the stuff at Paragon reproductions. It's for corvettes but the stuff is affordable and no one will know the difference.
