They did not show the true power of a mopar!!  The test was unfair and the results show that.

watched this, and was getting ready to start a thread on my own.
pissed at them.

challenger they were testing had a bad clutch, and they only mentioned a couple times.

would have probably had the best 1/4 time. as it was it was still did just over a 14.0 with a bad clutch.

roasted the rear tires, with a bad clutch.

braking was horrendous. either the pads they put on the front sucked, or the proportioning valve wasn't set right. dragged ass all over the road.

had a manual steering car, trying to go through twisties. probably didn't have the sway bar since it was a '70.

not very happy with them about this show.

they did have a fairly decent one on a little later about Dodge, "The GO Fast Division"
I found the meaning of life once, but forgot to write it down.

 ;D  that outcome was ludicrous,rediculous,perposturous.etc......

they should have had a $ value section, no then how would they explain that the worst car is worth far and away more than the rest.

i love my 2  70's

I posted this last time it was on too but I think an AAR or T/A in good tune would have blown them all
away but a HEMI Challenger with all the options in good working order should have come in first or second
too.
Testing the GM A-bodies against each other is stupid because they are the same car with different
sheetmetal and are about the same weight as each other :eeksmall:
Of course they have different engines but the brake test and the cone test should be about the same

If I were gonna do a test like this I would include the Mopar B-body and the Ford Torino at least :ack:

That Mustang was impressive though, i kinda like that one :banghead:

Gee a 450hp 454 lets regrid a mopar cam with the same profile and run it again with a new clutch in the hemi.
mopar cam around .484 chevy .550  thats close  :P       Chrysler made the hemi almost the same 66-71 besides a few small feature hyd mech cams , carbs...

hurst olds, lets run a hurst dart or barracuda  :grinyes:

and for the burn out lets gee run all the same frigin tires (as the red lines dont smoke like a goodyear or wideoval may pop)
and properly running cars     were to stupid to tune the carb and the clutch sucks    ( remember what he said at the end to us mopar guys )            run the same fields     dont start the 4spds in 2nd and same gearing     4.10 and 4spds
1965 barracuda. Was 273/2 904 car had 440 360 in plans
1996 Dodge 1500 ST 5.2 Np3500 4x2 club cab short bed
