    Seriously though, it seems some E-body stuff has gone thru the roof the last few months. An auction for original Challenger rear window louvers just went for over $1700, and of course they need painted, and who knows what else. Decent consoles go for over $200, 6-way driver's seat brackets go for over $500. Don't even mention the price of a 70-71 front grill :ack: I have to clean my car REAL good. Maybe there is a layer of gold underneath it that I don't know about. :dontknow:

    It's getting crazy!!  Luckily, my speaker covers were in really good shape so we were able to clean and repaint.

    Yeah everytime I see something I need for my Challenger that's overpriced I wonder if I should buy it before it gets worse. And to think I give parts parts away at times. :-\

    I just lost out on a 70 grill last night! I went to 1150usd and lost out. It had a crack down the middle that was fixed.

    It's crazy what some people are willing to pay for some parts.  I almost paid way too much for the last few larger items I needed for my car, but Carlisle really helped me out.  I can't wait to get the rest of the items checked off my list next year.  Only a few more items and I'll be able to sit back and watch everything's prices rise without any extra money taken from my wallet.  It's just a shame that the rest of you guys still looking around will end up being affected by these changes that are rapidly taking place. :eekbig: :-\

    Ended up talking with Don, from FBO today... and the best thing he told me was, "Never exceed the speed of your wallet!"...I told him too late, I was traveling at light speed and my wallet is driving a Toyota Corolla!! :grinyes: :grinyes: :eekbig:
