Quick Shaker question
« on: January 31, 2011 - 02:56:27 PM »
I just want to know why the 'SHAKER' printed inside every shaker hood is blurry (or at least faded at the top and bottom... to me it looks blurry). Is that a defect that the factory never fixed? Is that just how the decals were printed? I know that guys do it now for originality purposes, but why were they like that in the first place? It's insignificant, but it's driving me nuts.

If it is a real "SHAKER" sticker, then it is not blurry - it is "shaking".  They were printed to look like the hood and sticker were actually shaking when the hood was in the open position.  In essence, it is a "shaking" shaker sticker.

If you're looking for factory defects, you will not have to look far!  However the sticker was purposely printed like that.  Most like the shaker decal look as they grew up seeing and it looks like it should to them.  Just like everything else on your car, make it whatever you want and have fun.... no wrong way to enjoy your car.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Haha. As a matter of fact I don't get out much. Noone in my family likes cars, so I'm a 20 year old learning these things on my own.
