« on: February 01, 2011 - 01:01:25 PM »
Ah-ight, which side on a BB 440, does the metal part of the motor mounts that have the metal sleeve for the bolt, go??

Is it the passenger side?

Not sure but the drivers side is the side to really hold down. Mine has a steel strap add on the front of my 440-6 to save the mount. So I would put the strongest one the divers side.

As I'm looking at the metal brackets that the motor mounts bolt to, The one with the Sleeve for the bolt at the bottom goes on the driver's side then? I looked at 'em side by side and can see one sets the motor mount further back..I'd hate to have to remove these in the car....

I went and took a look at mine last night before I answered you just to be sure. The sleeve is on the driver's side on mine.

Thanks, i'm finding out the E-bodies were/are just as bad as B-bodies when it comes to weird sh*t..I now have TWO Guage clusters for 1972 Challengers, and each have different needles on the guages? WTF?

Now i have no usable guages for parts, as they don't match...
