    So this car is a good, big project, if I were able to get a parts car to transfer both sheetmetal and other parts from. What are these two cars worth, as far as offering the owner a sum of money?

    I also asked someone with access to registration info to see if the VIN from the car is registered as another car- maybe someone stole the tags for a rebody? Is that legal?

    BTW- Here is the other side of the parts car.

    "Gasp," I know a body shop can do wonders, and I know sombody will buy it. Maybe just to part out what's left and make a clean get-away. I believe you can find a better project, I did. (read my post plymouth parts manuals).  Yes, 71s are harder and more expensive to buy, they made less of them.
    How long have you been looking, I turn down 2 Cudas and thank god I did. What I ended up with is a super project car with a small rust problems, but everything was there. #Matching and documented, it had it all.

    Is one of the cars missing the vin tag?Which one the one you want ot restore or the parts car?Having the parts car with a lot of the missing parts will certainly help but the rust work is what will take the most time and money.The areas you really need to get a good look at are the frame rails,wheelhouse,cowl both sides behind fenders and lots more.The quarters,fenders and outer metal is faily easy it`s the structural stuff underneath you want to be in decent shape.

    If I was looking at spending over 6K for both, I would look for one that already has everything and go from there. For 6K you can find a real solid one with all the parts still on it. Looking at those pics, you are gonna run into things that you didn't expect when you get into it and if you have it blasted, there may not be much left. Sorry but I don't think there is really 6K worth of parts there to be honest but that's just my smelly opinion! A friend of mine bought a 70 Cuda 383 convertable for 10K that was very solid, it didn't have the engine or trans but just goes to show they are out there. (he actually got his in Idaho too like Burpin did) Mine is very solid and I''m still having to do a lot to it, I cannot imagine doing what you would have to on that 71.  :thumbs:  I'd take 74Chally's offer and and through him and other members here on the forum, you should be able to do much better.
    You'll probably spend more in the long run on this than you would if you look for a better one.  :dontknow:  But hey, what do I know?  :grinyes:

    Did anyone else notice all the different colored panels on the cuda, even a different colored trunk lid, I think this is a pieced together crap of a car and that is why the fender tag is missing, I wonder if it is even a real big block car, so the question is, can you look at the K frame to see if it is a big block car or what. I would pass on these for sure. But that is just Burpin talkin and someone with a name like Burpin can only Burp. Burp teehee. Honestly I would get a cheap 72 -74 cuda and clone it to what you want. No one would know and it would be nice. It just only hurts the resale value, but this is a hobby and Burpin dont plan on selling his cuda.

    I would have to agree with 74chall last post. You said the guy wanted 6800 for both?! Man there have been times when I have considered selling mine (which I am not now) and I wanted 7500. And this was for a 74 chally with a good running 440. A decent looking driver. But I understand how desirable the 70 and 71s are right now. Just my .02 cents.
