Dome light lens: Yellowish or white?
« on: February 14, 2011 - 09:27:03 AM »
I'm assuming that my 73's dome light lens has simply yellowed over the years, and that is was actually white when new...?

That's correct. Although more like an off-white when new.

Correct, should be an off white and not yellow.  Mine was the same way.  I got a new one since the origonal was cracked but...

I've heard of some people bleaching wiring connectors to get rid of some of the yellowing.  That might work with the lense too.  Mix up a solution of bleach/water and soak the lense over night.
