Challenger & Cuda Glass - The same??
« on: December 08, 2004 - 12:08:06 PM »

I remember seeing/reading somewhere that although the e-bodies glass were the same the body lines were different.

Is this true, if I find a 1970 Cuda Glass in green tint it should fit my Challenger????  :???: :dontknow:  :D

Thanks in advance.  ;)

I'm guessing the front windshield might be the same :???: I doubt anything else would be. BUT... I would like to see the rear window of a Challenger S/E up against a Cuda rear window. ;) They look mighty the same to me.

The windshields are the same, the door glass is same as well, the quarters and rear windows are different.

Correct me if I'm wrong 6Pak, I could'a sworn that there was a slight difference in the curve on the front edge or the straight side going down.

70-74 e-body hardtop door glass is all the same and will all interchange, the 70-71 convertables will interchange also. I believe the curvature difference begins at the quarter glass and those will not fit.

My debate was about where the straight edge meets the cat whisker edge of the rear quarter glass. the angle I thought was different.

Yes your are right but not on these where the glass sits next to the fuzzy seal where it meets at the corner of the window ledge seat. Only difference is that it does fit where it is at on both Cuda and Challenger but won't fit on those both. Clear?  :grinyes:

Sorry, got carried away. I don't know where exactly the body lines are different, I only know the glass in the doors and windshields will all interchange. Sorry TC, just in a weird mood tonight (as usual).  :worship:
