I appogize for not being here more but we had poor internet connections most of the time I was in the camps , probably 1/2 the time I couldn`t connect at all , the rest of the time ti would take hours to veiw a few emails & look after banking !! :pullinghair:
It was different , definatly changed a lot since I was working in the camps 14+ years ago , safety is way tighter now , we had no close calls , put over 10,000 miles on in 9 weeks  , missed a lot of meals & worked a lot of hours , the people I worked with were great , can`t say the same about the boss as usual . It was definatly nowhere near as bad as i imagined it would be , Most of the work could be done in some sembalance of warmth & if not you could go warm up as needed , we were not subjected to being outside for hours at a time in -30 or colder temps . Got to spend some time with Ken / 70 383 SE while I was there which was cool . The Pay is great & there is nothing to spend $$ on , everything is provided . Would I do it again , yes , I would prefer to work in a warm climate or overseas of course . The next thing is relocating to Panama , I did have a mechanic job lined up in Lybia starting in April as the next challenge but obviously that job will not be happening , I will stay in contact with them & see if they have work elsewhere worldwide .

Oh. If you are looking for an international job, have you tried RigZone.com? It is probably the biggest oil industry website. It has a huge site for careers. You can post your resume on there and companies can do searches. Also you can browse job listings and submit your resume to them. You should check it out.
