Rear Seat Belt Needed - Will Belts from Other Cars Work?
« on: March 10, 2011 - 08:19:39 AM »
I am missing the center belts for my '70 (black interior) and was wondering if the same belts might have been used on other cars back then.  This would help me in my search?

Did these cars come with center seat belts???  :clueless:

I'm curious because my car has 4 seat belts and was thinking of adding a center one as you mentioned so my 3 kids can safely sit in back.  I was just going to add a set to the other seat belt anchors.

I probably should have been clearer.  I have the part of the belts that attach to the sides near the door panel but don't have the 2 mating belt sections that attach towards the center of the seat.
