Dana gearing
« on: March 02, 2011 - 02:13:24 PM »
I have a Strange Dana 60 and 3.55 gears. The Keisler Tremec reduces 1st to as if it were like 4.10. With keislers calculator it shows the overdrive allows it to do 70 mph at a certain rpm. I would like to lower the rpm so I'm looking for a 3.23 ratio for a Dana.
I can't find squat out there for Dana under a 3.55. Do they exist? Where? Not Randy's. Not Dana. Not Strange.

3.54:1 is the lowest gear(Highway gear) for the Dana 60 I believe...All that's left in your case would be a taller rear tire..

I was really wanting to keep from doing that. I wonder if anyone, like Mark Williams, could make one. I'm sure there are alot of people who run Dana's that would love to cruise their ride's without the big gas bill. Especially in these times, people would buy these things up.  :money:

I sent them a note. I hope they reply. Imagine the amount of people who would buy a 3.2 gear for a Dana in these times of high gas prices. Moparts, here, A & B bodiesonly.com would provide for many sales.
