I really don't give a sh!t what they believe............but when you disgrace the dignity of a funeral procession, especially a fallen solider it's a disgrace to the fallen and their family. You have the choice to beleive in some god or a rock statue or whatever but they have no right to be at these funerals of our servicemen and servicewomen !  It's hard to beleive that there aren't literal riots at these demostrations they hold, sue them for insiting a riot. What about that law??  I hope they burn, and I'm not referring to some after life belief either, their homes, their so called church, them period.

One of the biggest 'shames' is that pretty young girl in the picture filled with such hate by her parents.  Unfortunately, in all of our Racial / Religious / Single Issue Voter politics there is too much of this on all sides.  One thing we definitely didn't do is inflict any of our bias on our children.  We all have experiences that make us who we are and what we believe but other than right & wrong we owe it to our kids to let them think & decide for themselves.  That's why both of our kids were able to say no to drugs and stay out of trouble much better than many of their friends.

And I'm really surprised some ex-marine sniper hasn't ruined these people's day when they're desecrating a Marine's funeral like they did in the Supreme Court case...

This "Cult" has been pi$$ing me off for a long time, glad you brought it up.  Had no idea it was a scam for law-suits. All the more reason really bad things should happen to them. Free speech sure, but when in tramples on the rights of others it is no longer a right. As far as I'm concerned they are yelling "fire" in a theater. I say "don't shoot let'm burn"

I think it would be nice if groups like that just didn't receive the TV news airtime they seem to get. I saw once on AC360 where the leader of that group called for special prayers (can't remember the name) that would cause god to strike Anderson Cooper dead. 
Not a religious person myself, but reporting on guys/girls like this doesn't do regular church groups any good, and just shows how badly humans can behave.

I think, when you get right down to it, it's just a bunch of people trying to be famous. More and more of that going around these days. No talent so they stir up controversy. The more controversial, the more attention they get. I didn't know Anderson Cooper was gay.

I forget the name of the man who lost his son in the war that sued Westboro Baptist Church, but he was talking about the supreme court decision and I believe he is right in saying that someone is going to wind up dead. A funeral is a deeply emotional time and considering many attending these military funerals just returned from combat themselves and many with post-tramatic stress. It won't take much for one of these soldiers to "trip off" on the Westboro group and there's going to be some murder charges!! Sometimes I think we throw common sense and decency out the window to protect the letter of the law. let them protest, Just a mile away!! Bastards!! 
 These folks are far from what Christ represented.

Its nut jobs like these people who give all religious people a bad name. I used to go to college at Missouri S&T in Rolla, MO. There was this "Pastor" that used to come once a semester and go stand where people were walking and yell things at them for no reason. He would tell girls that were wearing shorts that they were whores and that they were going to hell, he would tell any couples holding hands that they were going to hell for having pre-marital sex, and then he would usually literally throw those little pocket sized New Testament bibles at people
