Yeah, sometimes it's nice to have something as a total departure from a V8, RWD muscle car.

Sometimes I think about an old MGB, almost got one for $200.  You can imagine the rot though for that price.  Literally the doors were holding up the car, couldn't even open the passenger side one as it had become structural support.

There's a nice little 1967 Sunbeam Alpine locally in British racing green locally that's cool.  Slow, but cool, IMO.

Well the Daimler was a RWD V8, but I can't say it was a muscle car - LOL

If I lived in the states I think I'd have to drive some kind of '60s British car just to be different, but I'd still go for a V8 if possible.  Something like the Daimler, or maybe a P5b Rover (which had an aluminium V8 based on the "baby" Buick 215).  They look like this (note the Magnum style wheels which are original equipment).

Again, always an issue with time, money, space.  I think the old British cars are cool in that they have their own classic style.  Don't know much about them aside from just visuals and some minor info.  I think the thing that spurred me on were the Shelby Cobras, I like some of the other cars by AC also.

Don't forget about the Mopar connection too:  The Jensen Interceptor, with a 440ci engine!  You'll see them for sale here once in a blue moon locally.

A good friend of mine had a 440 Jensen for a couple of years, they seemed to rot very easily.  There was an earlier model with a 383.  And about the same period there was a car by a company called Bristol which had a Mopar 318.  All nice looking cars.
