    Difference between 4 speed and auto console

    What is the difference between a 4 speed and a auto console, I looking at a auto console a freind has for sale, what will I have to do to convert it to a 4 speed console for our 74 challenger? Thanks

    The cut out on the side and the top plate.  Go to Ebay and you can find a template to cut the auto console out.

    Were the challenger factory 4 speed consoles cut out on the side like the one pictured?
