Challenger neutral safety harness routing?
« on: March 06, 2011 - 03:53:41 PM »
I am helping a friend assemble his 70 Challenger 440/6 automatic, he bought the car in pieces/boxes of parts. He purchased a new neutral safety switch harness and we are not sure how it was routed from the factory. About 8 inches from the bulkhead plug it has a plastic tab attached to the harness. Does this attach to the firewall at some point? I have seen some small block cars that have a bracket on one of the top bell housing bolts to hold this harness. If anyone has a picture it would help us out a bunch. Thanks John.
