K Member Bolt Diameter???

Hi Guys,

I'm getting ready to remove the K-member from my 71 Challenger but before that I am welding up a jig with casters to be able to move the car.  But before I weld everything up I want to drill the plates that attach to the frame to make it easier.  So I need to know the diameter of the bolt. Does anyone know?  Thanks

It has been a lot of years gone by since I had the K-member off my orange Chally. But if I remember the bolts were about a half an inch. I would drill your holes 3/4" to be sure. None of these cars ever line up exactly the same. A 3/4" hole would give a little wiggle room on the next car you use the brackets on.
