Well I used to have an Eastwood powder gun. Loaned it to a friend and he fell in love with it. And kept it. As much as I would love to get another gun
I am a long way off in my project to win a poiwder coat gun just to have it sit for a long while. But I am grateful that CC.Com and Eastwood have teamed up with the giveaway .  :2thumbs:

This is my worry too, it will be some time before i can do it as well. I should pull out for those who are ready.

Ok i have a few projects that have been done for a bit now so they are due for some new paint on some of the parts and what better way to do it  id have lot of use for that poweder coat kit.I have a oven in the garage that is good to go what better way to but it to use. Also that would help me lot on saving on shipping to get the part powder coated. I like to get a few parts on the challenger powerder coated to make it look better.
Also thanks to Eastwood for that  price and Wizard for his time  good job guy s

I've always wanted to try out powder coating but found it cost prohibitive compared to the rattle cans I have access to.  But since Eastwood and the Wizard were kind enough to put together this contest, I figure I'll throw my entry in.  I've used a few other products from Eastwood and found them to be of good quality, so I believe the powder coating system will be worth using and yield great results.  For my entry I submit this: My whole car!

Well, not really the WHOLE car.  I've pieced this car together with almost exclusively used parts.  The end result is a running car that looks like... well... junk!  I've thought about refinishing it one piece at a time but rattle cans don't give me anywhere near the finish quality I'm looking for.  This year the goal is to get the new 440 Six Pack assembled and installed.  The engine assembly phase will begin when the weather gets a little warmer here.  To start off, I'd try to powder coat my carbs.  They need to be rebuilt anyway so the perfect time to do this is while they're apart.  While the old engine is out that will give me the opportunity to coat the brackets, water pump housing, and all the other little things under the hood that add to the overall quality look.

I would also like to submit this: 1972 Jeep CJ-5.  I know it's not a Cuda or Challenger but you'll have to admit it needs powder coating!  I picked it up because a friend knew I had the 72 Challenger and wondered if I wanted another vehicle from the same year.  I've always had a thing for Jeeps and this one runs and drives despite the rot.  It needs floors and tub work as well as all the little brackets and supports.

Here is what I would use to bake the items.  It is a gas stove converted to operate on propane.  It was my grandmothers stove and I set it aside in the garage figuring one day I may have access to a powder coating system.  It is obviously not used for cooking food!

Once again, thank you to the Eastwood company for sponsoring the giveaway, and to the Wizard for organizing it.  Good luck all!
Yes I own a 1972 Dodge Challenger Convertible T/A S/E with a 440 Six Pak. Can it get any more wrong?
