I bought this car in 2008 and made an expensive rookie mistake. at the time the market was still booming, the new challenger was released, and the value of the classic challenger skyrocketed. I decided I better get my challenger before they were forever out of my price range. I seen her on E-bay and my heart started racing. A 1970 Dodge Challenger w/ a 440 Six Pack R/T Clone that was according to the Seller 90% finished. LOL!!!
So I rushed to get the loan approved and bought her going from the pictures and the sellers description because it was 1800 miles away and couldn't get to see her in person for $13,000 dollars plus $1000 for shipping from Florida to Utah
I am finally getting to the point where i can start funding her progress. For right now I am trying to just make her a driver with a full body restore a couple years down the road. I have received all of my new wiring harnesses, front power disk brake conversion, and some of my brake lines, fuel lines, gas tank so far and still have a lot more parts to go.
I will be coming to Carlisle this year for a parts run hopefully. Looking forward to meeting you all there. I am glad I found this forum. You guys are all very helpful and knowledgeable. I will keep you updated on the progress as I go.
