quarter glass window regulator question....

I have a 71 Challenger that had stationary quarter glass windows and I want to put ones that roll down in there. So i bought a set from a guy that said they were for an ebody.  Recently I tore apart a 73 challenger and took out the regulators and the post for the window crank sticks out alot further than those other regulators. Did they make 2 different kinds of regulators for different years or maybe there is a difference from the challenger to the cuda? Any help would be appreciated as I need to sell the set that I don't need.
