Need help on a possible buy...first Mopar!!!
« on: May 16, 2011 - 06:06:53 PM »
HI
As I posted on my intro, been looking for a 70 Challenger..and have been following this Ebay car...
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220782298111&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT#ht_2532wt_1167

I really like it...maybe except for the wheels...anyways,since its a modified car...Im looking for  some feedback from you guys....Opinions?
Im really excited by it,but was thinking about driveability,etc..
Let me know...clock is ticking!!!! :burnout:
Thanks a lot!!!

Wow.  I don't know what to think.  I hate to say it but the skeptic in me is rearing it's ugly head.  The drivetrain and suspension alone are almost worth what the bid is at right now.  He also mentioned adding a Buy it Now price, but I could not find it.  That's easily a $70K-$100K car, and if it does sell below that level, I would say it's a heck of a deal.  I just wonder if it's a seller who will end the auction just before completion if it does not bid up to the price they want.

Yeah, I emailed him about the BIN, also.  At $50K that would have been an absolute steal, assuming there are no major hidden problems.  I'll have to watch it and see where it goes.
